....采药老人虽然满头银发，但身体还是十分强健，他经常带着两个儿子去山中采挖药草。这天，采药老人眼前一亮，发现前面有一棵人参。采药老人指着人参对大儿子说：“这是棵面年老参，十分珍贵，你把它整地挖出来，可以卖个好价钱。”
.... 大儿子看了一眼地上的石头，摇摇头，说：“地上有我么多坚硬的石块，怎么可能搬走它们呢？”
.... 小儿子看在手掌上吐了些唾沫，拿起小铁锨开始艰难地挖人参。他挖了半天，流了许多汗，才把人参完整地挖出来。采药老人的脸上露出了欣喜的神色，夸奖道：“你终于把这棵大人参挖出来了，真能干！”
大儿听了，很不高兴地说：“挖一棵人参有什以值得夸耀的，其实我也是?很能干的……”
.... 采药老人指着一旁的另一棵人参，对大儿子说：“这边还有一棵大人参，就由你来挖吧！”
.... 大儿子看着人参，皱了皱眉头，说：‘我真的很能干的，只是这棵人参旁还有许多荆棘，搞不好要刺伤手的，还是不要去挖它吧……”
.... 采药老人生气地对大儿子说：“你和你弟弟确实都是很能干，只是你的弟弟干的双手，你能干的却是一张嘴。”
Unearth Ginsengs
Though silver-haired，the old man who excavated medicinal materials
was strong phsically.He often climed up mountains to pick medicinal
plants with his two sons after him .One day ,the father and his
two sons were collecteing medical herbs among remote muntains.Suddenly,
the brigh-eyed old man found a ginseng plant standing ahead .He
said to his older son ,”The plant has lived over 100 years.Is is
precious and deserves a good selling price if you dig it completely.”
The older son had a look at the stones on the ground,and shook his
head ,”the stones.covering the ginseng plant are too tough to move
them away.”
The younger son spit at his palm,then began to dig the ginseng plant
hardly with a spade. After quite a while ,he was wet with sweat
and at last the ginseng plant was perfectly dug out .His father
praised him joyfully,”You finally dug the big plant out ,deserve
to be anable man !”
The older son became unhappy to hear this.He said ,”It isn’t praisewrothy
to dig a ginseng plant out .In fact. I’m also a capable man!”
Pointing to another ginseng plant beside him ,his father said ,”it’s
up to you to dig this big plant out .”
The older son looked at the plant and knit his brows,”I’m really
able to do anything,but this ginseng plant lives among many thistles
and thorns which will hurt me .So I decide not to dig the plant.
The old man said angrily to his older son,”You two are both able
man ,Your brother is able of two hands but you are able of the mouth.”
